Logistics Supervisor
London


Our client is an international PC hardware and peripherals design and manufacturing company based in London.


Job Specifications:
  • Responsible for preparing and arranging international customs clearance for import and export issues, process and update documentations
  • Daily administration of shipments and shipment tracking
  • Checking and maintaining service provider costs
  • Coordinating shipments to UK from overseas, as well as local deliveries of goods from suppliers/manufacturers in the UK
  • Act as a point of contact among Logistics, Warehouse and Repair Department
  • Dealing with ad-hoc problems and projects which may arise within customer service and logistics function


    • Requirement:
  • A sound knowledge of logistics industries and previous experience within the logistics industry is essential
  • Knowledge of containers, bulk shipments, truck, and courier will be beneficial
  • Good general MS Office skills and use of spreadsheets is essential
  • Good problem solving skills, flexible in approach and able to adapt quickly to change
  • Good communications skills and have the ability to deal with staff at all levels
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to exercise initiative and to work unsupervised to deadlines
  • This is a hands on role, and the individual will be expected to deal with day to day issues and get involved with shipments as part of a team
