Job Description

To work as part of the NYSE Liffe business. To gain an understanding of product development, sales and market operations of the derivatives exchange by assisting the relevant teams with day to day market operations activities, research,  preparation of marketing materials and presentations and other ad hoc business development projects relating to the team.

Required Skills

Strong academic record and must have a degree at 2:1 or above; Preferably some banking or finance experience during their degree course or since graduation and able to display an interest in financial markets; Fluent in English. Fluency in another language would be desirable but not essential; Interpersonal and presentation skills; Analytical with proven problem solving skills; Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Fast learner with an enthusiastic, pro-active, “can do” attitude; Flexible approach; Able to work as part of a team; Must have the right to work in the UK.
