Job Description
The role will be dedicated to servicing the current and future Motor Trade Franchise and dealership/retail clients within the market. The Manager will also have overall responsibility for managing and growing the business by ensuring strong client relationships, providing service excellence and promoting additional products solutions to both current and potential Franchise and Retailer clients.
1. Contributing directly to the company’s growth and diversification efforts by developing client relationships that result in the delivery of additional solutions for the designated client
2. Recruit,
train and develop the team – with the focus being on the development of
Motor Industry skills around Business Management, Composite reporting and
Dealership best practice.
3. Delivering
with the support of a team of account managers and analysts (or local partner)
company’s composite services to the Motor dealer networks as the Shanghai office expands
4. Develop
a suite of consulting services to compliment company’s portfolio of services.
5. Interact
with clients to provide consulting advice, design and present service proposals,
negotiate agreements, renew contracts, assist with decision making and manage
client expectations
6. Work
with company Directors, Brand Directors and the New Business Development Teams to
establish on-going strategic plans and business goals for the designated client.
7. Assesses
competitive conditions and include within monthly reports assessments and
recommendations to the Executive Board regarding existing product improvements
and new product specifications necessary to: (a) maintain “best product” status,
(b) satisfy client requirements
8. Manage
the administration of the market office (premises, office, financial reporting,
meeting legislative reporting requirements and staff as required) – including in
the first instance the establishment of the Chinese
office.
9. 3 months training in the UK head-office
Required Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The applicant should preferably have sound Motor Dealership Management Accounting knowledge. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. Knowledge
of Motor Trade industry, including current trends, competition, and client
operations
2. Proven
ability to develop client relationships that result in continuous business and
the renewal of long term contracts .
3. Ability
to manage complex or multiple projects and to motivate people to ensure
satisfied clients and profitability
4. Oral
communication skills necessary to build consensus and resolve difficult
situations diplomatically
5. Written
communication skills necessary to develop effective proposals and complex
documents
6. Excellent
oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese (
Mandarin)
7. Presentation
skills required to enable the development and delivery of formal presentations
and the ability to convey ideas persuasively to both internal and external
customers
8. Sales
and business development skills
9. Accountancy degree and experience are essential.
