The company is world leader in manufacturing technical furniture and control room console. They have now a requirement for a SQA / Project Manager reporting directly to the General Management of the plant in KunShan.
Job Description
- Supplier Quality Assurance; carry out inspections of supplier factories, address quality and delivery issues. Work within our ISO program to improve quality and ensure on-time shipments
- Product development; locate and work with new suppliers for project specific component manufacturing to ensure Evans quality and delivery requirements are met
- Customer contact during FAT inspections
- Interaction with other departments:
Project managers in China and offices overseas
In-house design as well as overseas designers
Work with QA and manufacturing in-house
Required Skills
A successful candidate must be able to read and understand drawings (blueprints) and extensive material/design specifications in English. They must be able to correspond and converse in English with our designers, sales and project managers in overseas. They will be part of a 3 person team that compiles bid packages. This team will then follow the project through to completion once a contract is awarded. This will include working with suppliers to manufacture components as well as work with our in-house manufacturing and assembly groups.
