Maintain effective lines of communication with the factories to place and fulfill orders
Organise and monitor Safety Testing for all products
Organise and monitor Quality Control Procedures for all products
Help to ensure factories comply to all ethical and environmental procedures
Ensuring production schedules are in line to meet shipping deadlines
Maintain the order database with accurate information
Designing and quoting for bespoke gifts with publishers

Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese
Fluent in written and spoken English
Negotiation skills used to obtain best prices from factories
Computer Literacy essential – Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and use of Internet
Attention to Detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Self Motivation – working under own initiative as well as being part of a team
Polite telephone manner
Creative Flair – the ability to generate new ideas to present to clients
Organisation - The ability to multitask up to 200 orders
Ability to work under pressure
Interest in retail fashion trends within the children's / teenage market is useful but not essential
Any experience in importing from the Far East will be useful, but not essential as full training will be given.
Fluency in Cantonese is an advantage but not essential
