Our client is looking for a highly motivated and exceptionally organised shipping and logistic Supervisor to join their team in west London.
Job Description
- Organising the safe unloading of vehicles delivering products from distributors and factories.
- Supervising the checking of deliveries against purchase orders ensuring any discrepancies are dealt with
- Ensure stock deliveries are entered correctly into the Warehouse Management Systems
- Ensure all deliveries are 100% quality checked and resolve any issues during the process
- Supervise the selection of customer orders by priority dispatch ensuring the smooth throughput of these customer orders from picking, packing and dispatch, managing the team effectively to ensure targets are met
- Oversee the customer returns process
- Supervise stock checks to ensure stock levels are accurate. Any discrepancies during this process are to be investigated and resolved
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Hard worker with a willingness to physically load, unload from vehicles and move stock as required
- Good eye for stock organisation and tidiness
- Good organisational skills
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn new warehouse software
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
