Alba Cathay Chinese School is currently recruiting Chinese teachers starting from May and September 2010. The Alba Cathay Chinese School is a non-profit registered charity (SC040169) organization which is partly funded by the Edinburgh City Council.
Job Description
We are looking for drawing and Martial Arts teachers.
Working time is every Saturday during term time from 9:00 – 11:00 for language teachers and 11:00-12:00 for drawing/Martial Arts teachers.
Application deadline is 30 April 2011.
It is expected that interviews will be held in late March and May.
Required Skills
This is a challenging and highly satisfying teaching role which requires motivation and dedication to working as a teacher, providing a positive difference to the children you are teaching.
You will be assisting in the planning and organization of lessons and your role will involve working in a classroom as well as spending time working with other teachers to ensure the effective delivery of lessons to children.
You need to be able to speak mandarin and reasonably good English as our pupils are bilingual or non-Chinese speakers. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
