Our client, an UK machinary export company is recruiting for a Chinese Speaking Sales Representative to deal with their Chinese customers in Construction industry.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:Our client is an established, award winning provider of IT products and consumer products - everything from LCD Monitor, to LCD TV, to MP3 player.
THE ROLEThis is a straightforward business development role, contacting business customers by telephone, introducing the company, and closing the deal.
To be suitable for this position you must have previous 3 years business to business telesales experience, and a track record of closing deals. Previous knowledge of the IT and/or Audio and Video industry would be ideal, but not strictly necessary as we will provide full product training.
You will be responsible to promote electronic products mainly for LCD monitors and LCD TVs to retails channels or chain stores, handle current customers and develop new customers in retail channels. Besides, your daily duties will be including on site customer visits, launching our product ranges to the customers in UK and conducting market research of price trend for our products. You will report to Managing Director.
You must have 5 years of proven track record in selling to chain store outlets and in dealing with electronic products, able to meet and exceed sales targets, with strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills and able to work with senior management to drive sales growth.

Plan and implement marketing projects, within agreed deadlines and allocated promotional budgets, working closely with internal designers in Asia office, copywriters as well as external agencies in UK.
Our client is an UK research consultancy and test organisation that provides leading edge services to top construction companies and government and other agencies that support and work in the construction and facilities sectors.
You will be responsible for sales activity for the market intelligence division of Asia Pacific, management of several major accounts and development of new business. In addition, you need to develop membership services and organize industry seminars by contacting existing member and recruiting new members.
For the right person this position will provide an interesting and satisfying opportunity to operate with a high level of autonomy within a short space of time, operating in an international environment, and to develop their own research ideas. Furthermore it involves liaison at senior level, (up to Board level) with key industry players and influences. We also offers the opportunity to start or continue training for professional marketing qualifications if these have not already been gained, as well as other training.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel abroad on a regular basis to attend exhibitions, interview respondents and carry out client visits to win work and therefore one or more languages are desirable.
